Event Description

LISTEN LIVE!

Illmatic: The purpose of our radio show is to fill the void music at Exeter for the hip hop community. At school, there tends to be a majority of techno/pop music played, especially at dances. However, we feel that the hip hop community needs to be represented as such: an actual community. With our help, we think that we can give everyone a completely different insight on a different genre of music, bring a different culture to Exeter, and most importantly, have fun and enjoy ourselves while doing it. You never know what you will like if you try something new, which is our intention. We especially hope to give people the same joy that we get from listening to hip hop. It's almost like a release from the usual Ke$ha or Adele playing on an everyday basis (not to criticize Kesha or Adele, haha.) We can reach out to the community of Exeter, and maybe they can feel the same release that we do. Tune into Illmatic, and you will not be disappointed.
