Event Description The name "Indaba" speaks to a means of arriving at community consensus traditionally used by people in South Africa. In its original setting, Indaba allows the opinions of everyone, even the most lowly to be heard and considered as the decision moves through the community, eventually to be named law by the Chief. At Exeter, Indaba emphasizes that every voice is important and the service provides an opportunity for members of the community to speak in a safe and unguarded manner about things that matter to them. It is entirely unstructured, and content is thoroughly student driven. |

Who Can Attend: Open to the Phillips Exeter Academy community only. |
