Faculty Recitals are an essential component of the Music Department Concert Series each term.  The 50 members of the adjunct music faculty at Exeter are active professional musicians who perform regularly in the concert series as well as maintaining busy performance schedules in the Boston area and beyond, including national and international venues.  When teachers present their music in a public concert, they are serving as role models.  Students gain an understanding and appreciation of the rewards of practice and dedication; they can see for themselves how effective practice techniques result in creative and intelligent music-making.
